Choose your size and color
Measure your intended space before ordering and compare it with the listed nominal size. Natural-hide shapes and dimensions can vary slightly.
Natural sheepskin and care
Each hide is individual. Shape, wool density, color tone and backing can vary, so your rug may differ slightly from the photographs. Shake regularly, brush gently and spot clean with a wool-safe cleaner. Allow to air dry naturally. Avoid bleach, machine washing and direct heat.
What to expect from your sheepskin runner
Will my new sheepskin rug have a smell?
A mild wool or leather scent can be noticeable after unpacking. Air the rug in a dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight and heat. If the smell is strong, musty or persists after airing, contact Woolous for advice before using cleaning products.
Is light shedding normal?
A few loose wool fibers can appear when a new rug is unpacked or gently brushed. Shake it out and brush lightly without pulling at the wool. Ongoing heavy shedding, clumps or thinning patches should be checked; contact Woolous with photos so we can help.
Is this genuine sheepskin or faux fur?
This Ivory 2 × 6 ft runner is genuine New Zealand sheepskin, with natural wool on a leather hide. Natural shape, wool density and ivory tone can vary between rugs. It is not a synthetic faux-fur rug.
Will it feel warm underfoot?
Wool's natural crimp traps air, providing insulation and a soft, warm-feeling surface beside a bed or in a seating area. Wool also allows moisture vapor to pass through. Keep the rug in a dry indoor space and follow the care instructions above.
